Server Racks

INTRODUCTION
Rack systems are strategic assets that play a key role in system uptime and data Centre availability and reliability. They can be counted on to be flexible and adaptive to accommodate rapid change.
They can accommodate monitoring systems that can enhance management of the data Centre ecosystem.
They are, in short, a vital component of any data Centre.

FEATURES
- I. Protect the machinery from spills, knockdowns and theft.
- II. Cords and wires are separated and provide an easy place to store all kinds of technology.
- III. Arranged in a hot-aisle/cold-aisle configuration to enhance equipment performance and life.
INFORMATIONS
Provides universal compatibility with servers, UPS Systems, data storage, back-up devices, environmental control, and cable management systems. For whom already have hardware available but want to put them someplace else to avoid infrastructure cost, you can rent a rack space in a data centre. Control over your infrastructure, have two solutions: Dedicated Hosting and Colocation Hosting.
- Managed hosting is a type of service where the service provider owns the hardware as well as software and provides it to the customer to use.
- Colocation Hosting, the customer must purchase its own hardware and software, set it up at the colocation center, and maintain it on a regular basis.
INTRODUCTION
A server rack is an open frame structure designed for accommodating technical or electronic equipment including routers, network switches, hubs, servers, etc. The server rack makes it possible to securely hold multiple pieces of equipment in one area and are typically going to be used by businesses and kept either in data centers or communications closets.
Data centre server rack can hold all standard 19-inch rack-mountable equipment, as long as it isn’t too deep for the rack cabinet or too high to fit in the available rack spaces. The equipment often includes removable mounting brackets that fasten to the vertical rack rails with screws. Heavier equipment may also include horizontal rails or rack shelves that mount in the rack to provide extra support. Other rack accessories that support the operation of the production equipment include UPS systems, PDUs, cable managers, switches, patch panels and fiber enclosures. The following descriptions illustrate the common types of data center server racks.
